Some berries on a tree that had a ton of orange berries on it in the Linnaeus Arboretum at Gustavus. I took this the other day when I was testing out my new polarizer and red filter. For this shot I had them both on and I think it worked pretty well. Only problem is that I had to run it at 800 ISO because it was already getting a little bit dark and I had that red filter on that really cuts out a lot of the light. But, Noise Ninja really cleaned up the grain a lot. I think that all in all, this one turned out pretty well.

As I’m taking another look at this, I’m starting to wonder if some of the details in the darker portions of this shot will show up on most peoples’ monitors. I think that mine might be set a little bright… Or my monitors at work might be set a little dark… So, let me know how the dark areas look.

Over the next couple of days I think that I’ll be posting some more shots that I took in the arb the other day, but we’ll see if any of them work well at all. Otherwise, I think that I’ll end up posting some older stuff…
