chairs 4

The fourth in the chairs series = same chair + same television + same wall + new large stained board. I hope you like it.
Also, I am going in for LASIK eye surgery today up in the Twin Cities. I am a little nervous, but I think that I have found a good doctor who has a lot of experience with this procedure. Still, there is a risk. But, I feel pretty optimistic and I think that it will turn out well and sometime tomorrow I will have perfect vision and for the first time in my life I will be able to wake up and just be able to see. I think it will be very powerful, plus it will give me full access to unlimited jokes about having laser eyes and needing special red sunglasses.

This entire series gives me an uneasy feeling. Maybe it’s just knowing that at one time, all this was shiny and new and that everything that’s shiny and new right now will someday look like this. The color cast from the fluorescent lighting really adds to the effect. Great shots in any case; I love stuff like this.

As always, wonderful colors here, so deep and saturated. I also like the feel of the photo, somehow it resonates with me.

Andy and Airela: thanks for your nice comments. I’m glad you are enjoying this series. It’s probably my favorite set of photos that I’ve taken so far.
