chairs 7 by Joe Lencioni

chairs 7 ƒ/22.0, 9 s, 100 ISO

Seventh in series. Red, white, and blue.

Technically, this photo was a little difficult to work with because of that blasted, shiny, white chair in the middle. In order to keep any of the detail I had to make the other chairs darker… I guess I could have done some more things in Photoshop to selectivly darken the white chair while keeping the rest brighter, but I still think that it works well.

This series is nearly exhausted. I think that there might be one more worth posting which is very similar to today’s photograph, and then it is done. Unfortunately, I haven’t had much time to shoot anything because of my eye surgery this week. Maybe today I will be able to get out there with my digital and the holga and take some interesting photos. It’s the big ole Rock Bend Folk Festival here in St. Peter tomorrow, so maybe I’ll check that out and see if there is anything at all interesting going on. I’m not really in the know when it comes to folk music, so I’m not at all familiar with this year’s artists, but it looks like it will be a fun and interesting time. They have a pretty cool looking poster, so I’ll give them that.

  1. I think this is the best so far. I really like it – although I agree that the white chair is a bit too white.
