Sam studying a map in Montreal
September 18, 2005We had never been to the city before, so, needless to say, we got a little bit lost. However, they had these great maps all over the city just like they have in malls to help you find your way around. It was great.
I really like the orange cones behind Sam in this photo. Not only do they make a fun little triangle, but I think that orange and blue look so nice together (and the road looks a little blue).
You probably noticed the site redesign. I was never too happy with my old design because I kinda threw it together just to get it up. Well this one isn’t much different, but it is a change and I think I like it better. I haven’t had the time or energy to change a couple of the pages over, like the about page or the archives, but for the most part the change is fairly complete. Let me know what you think.
You may have also noticed that my photos are a little bit smaller. Well, I recently purchased a statistics program called Mint that logs my visitors’ screen resolutions. Well, as it turns out, 51% of my visitors are using 1024×768 resolution which means that my 800 pixel tall picture won’t look the greatest for 51% of my visitors. So now it will only be 700 pixels tall. I might go back and do all of my archives, but I haven’t decided yet. We’ll see what happens. And by the way, Mint is awesome. If you run a website that has PHP and MySQL and are a freak about your stats like I am, you should definitely get it.
Today is the last day to vote for last week’s Photo Friday challenge, Massive. I am entry number 332 if you want to send a vote my way.
