Red fire escape

Some building with a red fire escape and some birds on it that I saw while I was in Montreal this summer. I remember walking past this and seeing a ton of birds perched on the edge of the roof. I was trying to get a better shot of all the birds, but I was just too slow getting my camera out and stuff. Still, I dig the shadow cast by the stairs. However, I think that I really like this shot mostly because of the two birds in mid flight. It’s a zen thing, like how many babies fit in a tire.

Oh I love the colors on this and how the red ladder draws your lines from the top of the photo straight to the bottom. The birds add a wonderful bit of detail too.

A really nice photo Joe. Those red stairs jump out at you and I like it because of the contrast between the Red stairs and blue skies.
I guess this structure was just begging to be photographed.
