corn field at night

I am very happy with how this photograph turned out. It is from the other night when Sam and I went out into the country to take some night shots. I haven’t looked through them too much, but hopefully there are a few more that are like this in the batch. That would make me quite happy.
This is a cornfield where we first pulled off the road. The moon was so bright that it didn’t take a very long exposure to get a decently exposed shot. Unfortunatley, I was working with a lens that I am fairly unfamiliar with, and I didn’t have a flashlight with me, so focusing was extra difficult. However, I managed quite well and things seemed to work out.
The clouds were amazing just before I left my house. I was hoping they would still be the same by the time I got to wherever I was going, but they had already changed. That’s alright though, because they were still quite nice.
Update (12/3/2005): This image is now available for download as desktop wallpaper. Enjoy!

Sweet shot! Great color in the sky and the field. I like the movement of the corn too.
