Power lines, curve sign

I think that this shot turned out better than I had anticipated, which actually makes me quite excited for the others from the other night. Hopefully they’ll be just as good as this one.
Unfortunately, the clock in my camera seems to have been off when I took this last set of shots, so all of the times are a couple of hours too early. This one, instead of having been taken at about 4:00 pm, was actually probably taken at about 10:00 pm.
I am going to be working hardcore on a big project this weekend that I have been working on for about a year now. It’s nothing at all exciting, and I’ll be glad to finally be able to cross it off of my list. I’m hoping that once I’m done with that, then I’ll have a little bit more free time to do more of the things that I enjoy. Maybe I’ll have the time to take care of a dog.
Update (12/3/2005): This image is now available for download as desktop wallpaper. Enjoy!

Joe, I really like the way you framed the photo with the curve of the pole and the curve on the sign playing off each other.

Love this shot! I am taken by the colours, lighting, and composition. The perspective you’ve chosen totally makes this photo. Nice!
