Yes, it’s another shot of my Fisher record player. What I especially like about this photo is that it so nicely showcases the brilliant, blue glow from the tuner area.

Speaking of my record player, I unfortunately still have not received the records that I ordered last week. But, I guess that is what I get for having them shipped to me via Media Mail. I guess I need to learn some patience.

It was fun having a bunch of kids show up at my house for trick-or-treating last night. Since I grew up in rural Minnesota, I never got to give any candy to kids that came to my house, so that was a real treat for me. I had some good candy, too: an assortment of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and an assortment of gummy candies like Sour Patch Kids and Swedish Fish. One of the kids said “Yes! Swedish Fish!” which was immediately followed by another who said “Swedish Fish are God.” It was a weird moment for me, but I’m glad I got to experience it.

In nerd land news, I updated my Pixelpost Comments Pepper to use the new Pepper API with Mint 1.2 beta. I added a bunch of stuff like IP address information and fixed quite a few bugs. I also changed the name from Pixelpost Comments to something a little bit more edgy: PCP. I hope you like it.

  1. This one really brings back memories. I used to flog my turntable to death.

    The template update is sharp.

  2. I like the angle on this shot, how the logo is so crisp and the background softly blurred. The colors are great too.
