My little Daruma doll

According to the Wikipedia, “Daruma is the Japanese name for Bodhidharma.” So the deal is that Bodhidharma meditated so hard that he couldn’t use his limbs anymore and then they fell off. Now you can get these little dolls over in Japan that don’t have any eye dots and you fill in one dot and make a wish. When your wish comes true, you fill in the other eye dot. It is, of course, all in good fun and has nothing to do with further marginalizing the blind. Please don’t sue me.
This particular Daruma doll was given to me by my friend, Adam Duffy (long live Chinese Fridays), after he returned from studying in Japan. The weird part of the whole thing, however, was that he left the states with quite long hair and when he returned he had a buzzed head. I have already made my wish by filling in the eye dot but don’t even think about asking what I wished for because telling you would obviously not make the wish buddhas happy. Your guesses, however, are most definitely welcome.
Last night I went to Buffalo Wild Wings for boneless wings night with some guy pals and we played that NTN trivia thing and totally dominated. We could’ve done better, but we had an accidental mess up or two.. Anyway, we broke 10,000 points and ranked 115 in the universe, which is actually pretty swell. Was anyone else playing?

Ha! Nice picture. Kind of moody - I like it. Hope your wish comes true.
