You could look at this image and say to yourself, “Man, it’s pretty cool except for that damn shadow of the tripod on the wall. Honestly, what the heck was Joe thinking when he posted this?” Or, you could be a little more introspective about this whole and mess and say, “I love this shot because the tripod shadow calls us to re-examine the place of the self when viewing art. It’s like lucid dreaming or a whole Monty Python’s Flying Circus moment where the characters are aware that they are actually just in a sketch.” It’s red pill or blue pill time baby—make your pick here.
