Rob and Alyssa, being engaged
November 21, 2005My friends, Rob George and Alyssa Tjosaas. They are currently engaged to be married. Seriously though, check out that rock. This particular ring, however, is nor ordinary ring. It was actually forged from a cool idea. I believe the story goes something like this: Rob took an emerald ring that had belonged to his grandmother, had a special diamond made for it, and then got the jewler guy to stick it onto the ring, in between the two emeralds.
Although this photo was not taken at the time that Rob proposed to Alyssa at Lake Maria State Park, I’d kinda like it if you pretended it was. In fact, this photograph was taken nearly a month ago at Seven-Mile Creek Park between St. Peter and Mankato. It was a perfect, beautiful autumn afternoon.
I love Seven-Mile a lot. If you are in the area and like the outdoors, it is a great place to go for a hike. And, during the dry season, all of the water dries up and then you can leave the trails and walk up and down the riverbeds.
Rob and Alyssa are good people and they both picked good colors to wear.

Hey, a very nice capture. Not only the colours are very attractive, but her smile and her hand on his shoulder also gives this photo a very warm feeling

The picture of the engaged couple is simply endearing. Great colors/great background. But, I have to say..I was disappointed that I couldn’t appreciate the ring from your description, I got so curious and tried to zoom on it. No luck. LOL
You have what it takes to make beautiful pictures.
