The battle of blue and red

I really can’t get over the fact that this was created from one exposure. After the RAW conversion, I only ran noise ninja, added a curves adjustment layer for contrast, and a hue/saturation adjustment layer to boost the color.
While I had originally liked yesterday’s shot quite a bit, I feel that today’s puts it entirely to shame. When looking at them back to back like this, yesterday’s looks like a cheap, zoomed-in crop of today’s. In today’s the snow is so lively and active and the background looks so organic.
Although, when looking at the previous two, the sparseness really seems to belong. Do you prefer today’s shot or yesterday’s?

I like todays more. I’m a sucker for snow.

I definitely like today’s shot more. There’s more “action” throughtout. I especially like the deep reds and blues that make up the background.

Hey friends, thanks for your feedback. I agree, there is more action throughout this photo. That’s a good perspective.
