Another abstract of the snow. This photo was taken through my kitchen window of the snow against my neighbors’ blue house. The vertical lines play off the circles nicely to give this shot a good balance of more organic elements and more structured elements. I always find stuff like that interesting.
Bottled the beer last night and I totally lucked out. You see, I wasn’t sure whether I had enough bottles saved up or not, so i was afraid that some of my beer would end up going to waste down the drain. Fortunately, I had the exact number of bottles that I needed which made me quite happy. I tasted a small sample of the beer and it was actually quite good for being warm and flat. I can’t wait to see what it will taste like after the yeast and sugar does its thing and carbonates.
Homebrewing nerd spoiler alert: the ending gravity was 1.011 with a potential alcohol of about 1.5%. Compared to the starting reading of 9% potential alcohol. That basically means that I made a slightly strong 7.5% beer.
