thanks frisky, and an astute observation. As a matter of fact, I love depth of field.
A side note: all of the DoF stuff you see in this series is from the long focal length and the wide aperture and is not done in Photoshop. :) But, not that it would make any difference to me… I just think it is cool being able to do it with the hardware rather than the software.

This is my favorite of the Bosc pear series thusfar. You nailed the DoF (in my opinion), and the lighting is perfect. Nice shot.
