Glass globe, wall

I am nearly positive that this will be my last post for at least a few days. I will be away from home so who knows what will happen.
I spent way too long at the office tonight. I’m not going to tell you how long, but if you guess it you get two cool points. And, as everybody knows, you can spend your cool points on favors.
If you feel so inclined, voting for this week’s Photo Friday challenge, “Depth of Field,” starts today. I entered the Lit hallway photo from a few days ago and it is number 671 in the link viewer.
If the weekend rolls around and I haven’t posted again yet, Merry Christmas.

Fantastic colors and textures. Simple yet intriguing.

I love all the varying shades and textures in this image. I think my favorite part though, is how the roundness of the globe is contrasted by the straight lines opposite it. Mesmerizing shot.
ps. I hope you had a wonderful holiday. :)

This could be a space scene from some distant galaxy. The light and color are just incredible.

The colors and textures are very nice. I’m at a loss at what it is, though…

Hey thanks for the kind comments everybody.
Ariela: that’s an interesting point–I hadn’t really thought about that before! Thanks for pointing that out.
Alicia: the round mass on the left is actually a glass globe light fixture that had some moisture forming on the inside of it. the stuff on the right is just the wall. :)
