Ariela: that’s an interesting point–I hadn’t really thought about that before! Thanks for pointing that out.

Alicia: the round mass on the left is actually a glass globe light fixture that had some moisture forming on the inside of it. the stuff on the right is just the wall.

This could be a space scene from some distant galaxy. The light and color are just incredible.

I love all the varying shades and textures in this image. I think my favorite part though, is how the roundness of the globe is contrasted by the straight lines opposite it. Mesmerizing shot.
