A close-up of the Christmas tree box that my family has had for as long as I can remember. I think that my parents bought it sometime before I was born and a couple of years ago they got a new fake tree. So, when I bought my house they gave me the old one. But, what I really love about it is the box which is covered in tape and needs to be held together with twine. When I was little, the appearance of this box in the living room told me that presents would be coming soon. Now it brings back fond memories of decorating for Christmas.

Thanks to all the people who made nice comments on my last photo that I had up over the last week while being on vacation. It was nice to take a break and start the new year all fresh. I’m looking forward to what 2006 will bring.
