Christ Chapel Pews: Near

I went up to Christ Chapel last night to try and get some sweet shots but left mostly disappointed. Most of what I was shooting just didn’t seem to work. Perhaps I’ll go back tonight and have another go at it. This photo is one of the few that actually seemed reasonably acceptable. In fact, I remember not being too keen on this shot when I took it, but then I brought it onto the comptuer. I just loved the cracklyness of the concrete floor. I’ve never noticed it like that before, so now I am excited to go back and try and get another good shot of it.
Photo of the day - this is a glass sculpture by this guy named Dale Chihuly. A few years ago I saw a cool documentary on PBS about Chihuly called Chihuly Over Venice. Good show.

That’s gorgeous. Good composition, colour and tone and the detail of the woodgrain and cracks on the floor are really eye catching. I think I would have lost the tiles at the top left, but it’s still excellent. (Btw, thanks for the link.)
