Similar to yesterday’s shot, except this one is taken from the balcony in the back of the chapel.

Also, be sure to get on over to the 2006 Bloggies to nominate your favorite blogs. “Millions of blogs. Thousands of nominees. 151 finalists. Thirty winners.” I’d like to highlight a few of my favorite nominations:

In Best Web Application for Weblogs

  • WordPress — I know… my site runs off of Pixelpost and it really works quite well for what I need. However, WordPress 2.0 just came out and it totally rocks. I just wish that there was a set of sweet plugins and stuff for photobloggers because I don’t have the time to develop anything.
  • Mint — Beautiful extensible stats. Brilliant for any website.
  • Pingoat — A much faster pinging service than the good ol’ Ping-o-Matic. I start every day with a good hit to the Pingoat.

In Best Web Development Weblog

  • Particletree — These guys are great and write a lot of excellent, original content. They also publish a web magazine called Treehouse. Read it, it’s good for you.
  • 24 ways — Short, simple, effective, interesting, and useful, 24 Ways put up a new post each of the days in December before Christmas. I loved this idea and hope to see it again in 2006.
  • A List Apart — If you are into web development and don’t know about A List Apart, wake up. Seriously.
