Christ Chapel Ceiling and Staircase
January 9, 2006I read once that the ceiling of Christ Chapel is blue to represent the sky and the tiles on the floor are brown to represent the earth. This shot, taken near the main entrance of the chapel, showcases that blue ceiling. The staircase goes up to the balcony where there are a bunch of chairs, the massive organ, and the sound booth.
Yesterday Sam and I whipped up a batch of Nut Brown Ale. Hopefully it will turn out like one of my favorite beers, Newcastle. And, for those keeping track at home, the starting specific gravity was 1.045 if I remember correctly.

Wow! The colors and lines and angles and sadowing and carity, etc. (from what I can tell) are great! I’m in awe.

If it wasn’t for your description I’d have no idea what it was. I love the lines and abstract shapes, nice warm colours too.

Thanks for the nice compliments everybody. I’m glad that you all like this shot because I was a little bit iffy about putting it up. Thanks for the reassurance.

Its a great shot. At first look, I thought it was a look at strange lights in the sky. As the others have said: the depth, colors, etc … are great
