My old shoes

These are two pair of old tennis shoes. The ones on the left are some gray velcro shoes I got a few years ago and haven’t really wore them seriously for a while. I drew stars on the backs with a silver paint pen to make them totally rad. The pair on the right are my Sauconys that I wore until they just about broke me. They are way too worn out and I should just throw them away. I contemplated finding a cobbler to fix them, but I figured it would probably just be better to get some new shoes at this point. And, now I am the proud owner of a pair of rather nice Børns.

I had some extra time this afternoon, so I got to use my Holga again. I was quite excited because it is the first time I have had a holga and a light meter at the same time, so I had a little bit more precision with the shots that I was taking. I have a Holga with bulb mode, too, so I have pretty good control over the shutter speed, but it is still pretty much guesswork with the timing. Luckily I’m pretty good at counting, so all of my shots turned out fairly decently exposed. Unfortunately, I had quite a few stinkers in the bunch, so I’ll only be posting a few from the roll.

Greased Lightbox

Regarding Greased Lightbox, I have a new version that is nearly ready, so don’t think that I’ve been neglecting the project. However, I stumbled across what I believe is a bug in Greasemonkey which is pretty much one of the only things that is holding the next release back. Hopefully that will get fixed soon so I can release v0.10 into the wild.
