untitled
May 2, 2006I went for a walk in the Linneaus Arboretum at Gustavus Adolphus College today and it was exactly what I needed. The weather was so absolutely nice and I had the time to take a few photos.
I can’t remember the last time that I spent a such good chunk of time outside. I can’t believe how much I need time like that. It makes me want to go camping.

I love the shallow depth of field and the monochrome tratment. Very nice!

This is gorgeous in it’s simplicity. It’s tough to make a shot like this interesting, but the very light saturation and the short DOF made it work.
bravo…

@PIXELGRAIN: “It’s tough to make a shot like this interesting” is exactly what I was thinking when I was walking around taking nature photos. It’s really tough to make nature and sunset photos interesting because they all seem to come off as contrived and boring. I’m glad you think that I pulled it off.

@Kathleen: Thanks for the compliments.
Regarding your question, I absolutely sell prints but just don’t have a way set up to automate anything yet. Shoot me an e-mail and we can chat.
