Why Sam is Voting Democrat

The Democrat booth at the Minnesota State Fair this year had a big wall with about a thousand post-it notes that people had written why they are voting Democrat in the next election. Some of them were funny and some were more serious. There were a lot of just plain anti-Bush post-its up, too. Sam’s read, “I care about people.”
I have a couple more shots from the Great Minnesota Get-together to put up… I think it’ll generally be stuff from the 4-H building though. I had my camera, but I just didn’t take a ton of shots. Sam and I had a lot of fun though and were glad to take it in on the last night. We did the free park and ride thing, which is always an adventure for us smaller-townsfolk.
So, I think that the Ringling Bros. got it all wrong because The Greatest Show On Earth is obviously Mark Mallman. The show this weekend was off the hook. Mallwolf even made an appearance. Luckily, First Avenue was cool with letting me in with my camera, so I took a bunch of sweet photos that I hope to be posting soonish. I like those First Avenue people–they aren’t like the Quest people at all… They are nicer and stuff. And, there are a bunch of shows coming up that I’m thinking about attending. Especially Mates of State and The Decemberists.

Nice light coming into the frame from the right. I like the concept too.
