Introducing Ordering Prints
September 16, 2006If you want to be notified the next time I write something, sign up for email alerts or subscribe to the RSS feed. Thanks for reading.
That’s right, you can now easily order prints of your favorite photos here.
Made on demand
There are no warehouses here, so prints are made on demand. This takes a little bit of time, but most orders should ship within 7 days.
International customers
Unfortunately, I am unable to offer online ordering to people outside of the United States. So if you live in a different country like Canada or the UK and want to purchase something, get in touch and we’ll set something up.
Cropping
Note that the excess paper is trimmed from prints to make them fit properly. Therefore, the final product may be a different size than what you ordered.
In other words, if you order this nice photo of Andrew Winter and select the 8″ x 10″ option, you will actually end up with a 6 2/3″ x 10″ photo. Alternatively, if you order this cozy photo of rusty metal and dead grass and select the 8″ x 10″ option, your print will be closer to 4 3/4″ x 10″.
The photos are not cropped to fit the paper, so you can have the entire photo as it appears on my site.
Colors
Please bear in mind that what you see on your screen may look a little different than what you receive in the mail.
I have calibrated my monitors to a standard that the printer uses, and the photos come out as intended. But if your monitor is off, you may end up with slightly different colors and tones than what you see on your screen. Much of the time, these differences are negligible.
Free shipping
To kick things off, I’m offering free shipping for a limited time.

Im honored to be used as the first example, Joe. Thanks! I would buy a picture of me, but that seems a bit odd…

congrats getting this together and working. I’ve been working on the same thing myself lately, but never quite get around to finishing off the details.
Best of luck, sir, I hope you sell oodles of these…
