Happy February!

Last night I went to see Children of Men and was fairly excited about the movie after some of the reviews that I’ve read and heard. To be honest, I was a little disappointed. It wasn’t a bad movie, it just wasn’t great.

The acting throughout the entire film wasn’t very good and some of the dialog was just crap. There were also a few scenes that were simply ridiculously unrealistic. However, I think the thing that really did it in for me was Clive Owen. He seems like the British Nicholas Cage, and I really can’t stand Nicholas Cage.

It was, however, a good story. If you are interested in seeing Children of Men, I would maybe think about trying the book.

  1. At first I thought this was an aerial view of a beach with a few dunes and the tide coming in at the bottom.
