This guy does a lot of political satire folk songs. The one he played for us during the open mic focused around the recent Astronaut Lisa Nowak controversy.

There’s a full moon coming up next weekend. I’m getting really excited and crossing my fingers that it’ll be somewhat warm and tolerable weather. Right now it’s not looking too great, but it should be at least above zero. If it’s decent enough, I’m planning on hitting the countryside with my Holga and new cable release apparatus. It’ll be night shots on film for my first time.

  1. What’s a cable release apparatus?

  2. @Rob - since Holgas are kinda weird, you need to have a special collar thing that goes around the lens/shutter lever area if you want to use a cable shutter release. I got mine from the Lomography.com shop.

  3. superbe… comme toujours

  5. This guy plays in the skyway that I walk through on my way to the office. I recognize the lower face! haha His songs are really funny - often with a political theme. Great image : )

  6. @Teresa - that’s really cool that you recognize this guy. :) You should get his name sometime. I liked what I heard at the open mic night and would love to hear some more of his stuff.
