Tight Pants, Stuffed Pockets
February 27, 2007Another shot from the open mic night at the Southern Theater in Minneapolis.
This guy read quite a bit of stuff from a book (or maybe a CD?) that he has been working on. He was actually one of the best storytellers of the night. He had a very interesting look going for him with wily hair, aviator style looking eye glasses, a scruffly beard, awesomely tight pants with stuffed pockets, and a really crazy cool stained-glass/mosaic red button-down long sleeve shirt.
Business Cards
I’m working on a business card design and am looking for a high quality printing company to print them for me. If you have any recommendations, I’m all ears.
I need full color front and back with bleeds and am interested in something higher quality than the standard business card that you see floating around. I don’t know much about printing, but I think that letterpress + offset printing would be really hot. Let me know if you can hook me up because the samples I’ve received have been thoroughly unimpressive.

I know this guy. He’s a wonderful story-teller. Good to see his picture — sort of — out there.

Thanks for the compliments guys.
@Terry: If you know this guy, can you tell me his name? I’d like to find some more of his stuff sometime. He is a good story-teller.

Well, since you agree with my dad, I guess I’ll let you know it’s me.
I guess I’ve told him some stories as well as at open mics.

@Gabe: rock on! Thanks for stopping in and leaving a comment. I’ll check out your website… It looks like you have a lot of stuff up there. I hope you like the photo.
It’s too bad that things got cut short that night. I would have liked to hear some more from more of the people slotted toward the end of the night.
