Lights and Church

This double exposure shot was a bit of a happy accident.
You see, I shot the church and then went to go take a photo of the nearby street lamp. In the meantime, I forgot that I had not wound my Holga the appropriate number of clicks. I began the shot of the lights and realized instantly what I had done.
Much to my delight, I think it turned out. The composition feels just about right… Perhaps I’ll try my hand at some more double-exposures and see what turns up.

Very happy accident indeed. I really like this. If it were a digitally edited image, one might have considered tilting the street light slightly, but, really, this is actually rather wonderful.
