Deborah Goodwin
May 17, 2008When I was a student at Gustavus, I actually minored in Deborah Goodwin. That’s right, I took five classes with her. Each one was a great experience and I learned a lot from her. She has an engaging, no-nonsense teaching style that worked very well for me.
Goodwin has a great personality and is a good person. If you have the opportunity to sit in on a class or have lunch with her, take it–you won’t be disappointed.
When she’s on campus, she lives with the rest of the Religion department in the newly-rennovated Old Main.
This photo is part of a project that Gustavus brought me on to do. The end product was the first annual booklet of faculty achievement at the College. It was a lot of fun to work on such a large-scale project and have something to hold in my hands at the end of it all. I shoot with digital most of the time and don’t end up making many prints for myself, so it’s exciting to be able to see my photos in print.
