In the middle of the night, I stumbled across this crazy tree growing out of a rock at the Kasota Prairie Outlook a couple of weeks back. The shutter was open for 215 seconds. Check out Jerry’s take on this wicked tree. I think I’ll definitely be going back to the prairie for some more night shots probably during the next full moon. I’d like to explore it some more.
Art show
Good news, I have a few pieces in an art show currently running at the Arts Center of St. Peter. The show is called “Mix it Up” and is running until November 12. If you are in town or are looking for an excuse to come visit, this just might be it.

Cool tree! I know it sounds repetitive but I can’t get enough of these night shots. Did you use one of those fish eye lenses on this one?

Beautiful! The lone tree and the night shot, two of my favourites combined into one! I love the rocks around the base of the trunk.
