Joe Lencioni’s Greased Lightbox is a user script that enhances browsing on websites that link to images such as Google Image Search, Flickr, Wikipedia, Facebook, MySpace, deviantART, FFFFOUND!, and Blogger/Blogspot blogs.
Requirements
- Firefox with Greasemonkey extension
- Safari with GreaseKit
- Opera 8+
Download
Make sure to uninstall any old versions of Greased Lightbox. Greased Lightbox v0.17 (April 27, 2008, release notes) And, if you like Greased Lightbox, be sure to check out Smart Image Resizer!
Installation
in Four Easy Steps
- Make sure that you have the Greasemonkey extension (Firefox) or Greasekit v0.6+ (Safari) installed.
- If you just installed Greasemonkey or GreaseKit, restart your browser.
- Download Greased Lightbox.
- Smile.
Testing
in Four Easy Steps
- Perform a Google Image Search.
- Click on one of the thumbnails.
- Try pressing the left arrow, right arrow, ‘+’, ‘-’, ‘0′, ‘x’, and Esc keys.
- Smile again.
