Here are two macro shots of the usually-delicious cantaloupe, a cultivar of the Cucumis melo species (generally referred to simply as muskmelon).

The weather has been unbelievably perfect here in Minnesota these past few days. If you are in the area, I hope you have had the chance to enjoy it while it lasts. Autumn is, by far, my favorite season—I look forward to this time each year.
