Joe Lencioni’s Greased Lightbox is a user script that enhances browsing on websites that link to images such as Google Image Search, Flickr, Wikipedia, MySpace, deviantART, FFFFOUND!, and Blogger/Blogspot blogs.
Requirements
- Firefox with Greasemonkey extension
- Safari with GreaseKit
- Opera 8+
Download
Greased Lightbox v0.18 (February 8, 2009, release notes)
Make sure to uninstall any old versions of Greased Lightbox.

Installation
in Four Easy Steps
- Make sure that you have the Greasemonkey extension (Firefox) or Greasekit v0.6+ (Safari) installed.
- If you just installed Greasemonkey or GreaseKit, restart your browser.
- Download Greased Lightbox.
- Smile.
Testing
in Four Easy Steps
- Perform a Google Image Search.
- Click on one of the thumbnails.
- Try pressing the left arrow, right arrow, ‘+’, ‘-’, ’0′, ‘x’, and Esc keys.
- Smile again.
