The Sufjan show at the Pabst Theater in Milwaukee was very cool. The whole band was dressed in matching bird costumes. Sufjan had the biggest wings.

  10. I have to confirm this, but I understand that his reasoning for the wings (besides the song) was Psalm 91:4, which says, “He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.”
